A company claiming the trademark rights to use “Pillow Fight Championship” sued a former employee for infringement in Florida federal court.
Leon Hunter refused to return a www.pillowfightchampionship.com domain to Gladiatrix LLC under a settlement following a “failed business relationship,” according to a complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Hunter is hosting a trademark-infringing blog at the URL, the Monday complaint said.
The lawsuit pits a company against a disgruntled employee in an already bitter dispute.
