Environmental Nonprofits Challenge EPA Pesticide Decision

The Center for Biological Diversity and the Center for Food Safety have asked a federal appeals court to review the Environmental Protection Agency’s registration of a pesticide used on crops.

The nonprofits are asking the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit to review the EPA’s decision registering cyantraniliprole, which protects citrus trees and blueberry bushes from pests, according to their petition filed on Wednesday.
