Duracell Power Center Sued Over Solar Power Inverter Patents

Solar battery and home-energy system supplier Duracell Power Center LLC is infringing two patents related to solar power inverters, according to a federal lawsuit.

The microinverters Duracell Power Center markets and sells infringe CyboEnergy Inc.'s US Patent Nos. 9,331,488 and 9,331,489, according to a complaint filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.

CyboEnergy seeks damages, enhanced damages for willful infringment, injunctive relief, attorneys’ fees and costs, and other relief the court deems just and proper.

Duracell Power Center is using the Duracell branding under license from Duracell US Operations Inc., according to its website. ...
