Drug Maker Sued Rival, Lawyer Over Secrets Too Late, Court Says

A pharmaceutical company waited too long to bring claims accusing its attorney from Fox Rothschild LLP of passing trade secrets covering a cancer drug to a rival, a New Jersey federal court said.

Beta Pharma Inc.'s 2023 suit came well over three years after Inventis Biotechnology Co. should have known about the alleged theft of secrets regarding its new drug, according to a Dec. 31 opinion in the US District Court for the District of New Jersey.
