Rappers Drake and 21 Savage are off the hook for their creation of a fake Vogue cover to promote their album “Her Loss” after agreeing to settle the lawsuit brought by Condé Nast.
The artists agreed to permanently stop using Vogue magazine’s trademarks and its editor-in-chief Anna Wintour’s image. Condé Nast sued the pair in November for their “counterfeit” Vogue issue.
The court originally issued a temporary restraining order after finding that the rappers were “misleading consumers” and “deceiving the public into believing that Condé Nast and Vogue are associated with and endorse the Counterfeit Cover and Counterfeit Magazine.”
