DoorDash, GrubHub Sued for Patented Delivery Location Technology

WirelessWerx IP LLC sued delivery companies including DoorDash Inc. and GrubHub Holdings Inc. for infringing a patent for technology used to allow customers to order products based on their geographic location.

DoorDash, GrubHub and Neighborfavor Inc. allow customers to select a mapped location for services, even if they are not in that geographic zone at the time of order, according to similar complaints filed in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas.
