Audio technology company Dolby International AB accused Roku Inc. in a federal lawsuit of infringing copyrights and a patent in its streaming service software “on a massive scale” and then fraudulently concealing it.

Roku blew past the terms of a license meant to test interoperability of Roku’s and Dolby’s software, distributing hundreds of millions of unauthorized copies through its operating system, according to a complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
