An administrative tribunal will hear Disney World’s challenge of a patent that a design firm says the amusement park ripped off with its “Star Wars"-themed ride.
The Patent Trial and Appeal Board on Monday agreed to review parts of US Patent No. 9,266,028, which is owned by Raven Sun Creative Inc. The patent describes an amusement park tower ride where riders are moved in a way that’s synched with video projected to a screen.
