Diebold Can’t Dodge ATM Patent Case Based on Fed. Cir. Decision

Diebold Nixdorf Inc. can’t escape patent infringement claims brought by another ATM manufacturer in Texas federal court even though the Federal Circuit found the patent invalid.

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas said Dec. 5 it could still find the patent valid because it could interpret it differently from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
