Dick’s Sporting Goods Settles Patent Suit Over Targeted Ad Tech

Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. settled a lawsuit accusing the company of copying technology to generate targeted ads based on social media activity.

Dick’s and Convergent Assets LLC on Tuesday filed a notice of settlement in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, asking the court to stay all deadlines for 30 days so the parties can submit a joint motion to dismiss.
