Dental Monitoring Sues Get-Grin Over AI-Powered Imaging Tech

Dental Monitoring, a French developer of dental software driven by artificial intelligence, filed a lawsuit in a Delaware federal court alleging that Get-Grin Inc.’s devices and services for acquiring and analyzing images of a patient’s dental arches infringe two patents for its technology.

Get-Grin’s teledental platform allows patients to use their smartphones to connect with orthodontists, who pay the company for use of its services, according to a complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.

Dental Monitoring sells a similar service that competes with Get-Grin’s, the suit says.
