Dell Products Infringe Server and Network Patents, Suit Says (1)

Dell Inc. infringed a suite of patents with its server and networking devices, according to a federal lawsuit.

Cloud Byte LLC filed a complaint against the company Monday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, claiming dozens of Dell products—including its ethernet switches and edge networking products—infringe its technologies. The Delaware-based company also listed Dell Technologies Inc. as a defendant.

The complaint asserted seven patents: US Patent Nos. 7,739,544; 9,482,632; 9,560,177; 9,629,265; 9,651,320; 9,900,249; and 10,628,273. The patents relate to server and network technologies, such as advanced cooling systems ...
