Financial Business & Consumer Solutions Inc. failed to protect the personal information of nearly two million people that was exposed in a February data breach, a proposed federal class action said.
Marc Reichbart alleged that FBCS, a debt-collection agency located in Hatboro, Pa., breached its duty under the Federal Trade Commission Act and common law to protect sensitive information, and failed to implement adequate data-security policies or comply with industry standards.
