Jewelry brand David Yurman Enterprises LLC settled a trade dress infringement lawsuit with the direct-to-consumer jeweler Mejuri Inc. over bracelets, earrings, and ring designs, according to filings in Manhattan federal court.
US District Judge Ronnie Abrams closed the case in a Tuesday order but said it could be reopened if one party files an application within 30 days.
New York jewelry designer David Yurman’s eponymous company filed the lawsuit in December 2021, alleging that Mejuri’s jewelry copied its “Pure Form” and “Sculpted Cable” collections, which feature twisted metal pieces and helix designs.
