Several widely used tools in Databricks Inc.'s Lakehouse platform infringe two patents covering predictive-model databases, search functions, and access controls, a federal lawsuit said.
Poulin Holdings LLC said Databricks products and services including Feature Store, MLflow tracking and evaluation, Unity Catalog, and Marketplace infringe US Patent Nos. 8,160,977 and 9,009,090, according to a complaint filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. It seeks at least a reasonable royalty for infringement.
