CVS Settles Cigna Lawsuit Over Ex-Executive’s Noncompete Pact

CVS Pharmacy Inc. and a former president of Express Scripts Inc. settled a lawsuit over allegations that she violated her noncompete agreement when joining the rival pharmacy benefits manager.

CVS and Amy Bricker resolved the lawsuit brought by Cigna Corp. before scheduled mediation, according to a report filed Monday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. The report didn’t disclose settlement terms.

CVS spokesperson Amy Thibault declined to comment on the filing. Cigna and counsel for Bricker didn’t respond to requests for comment.
