Curative Inc. filed a federal lawsuit alleging Curative AI Inc.’s “nearly identical” branding and health-care automation software infringe its trademarks and damage the insurer’s position in the market for health services powered by artificial intelligence.
The Bellevue, Wash.-based company’s use of “CurativeAI” branding and similar logos for health-care workflow software infringes Curative’s two registered US trademarks, misleads buyers about who makes the software, and creates unfair competition with its digital health and administrative tools, according to a complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
