Crocs and its legal administrator Allison Wakelin deliberately submitted false, defamatory reports of intellectual property infringement to Amazon to control the distribution and pricing of their products, Preferred Pharmacy Plus LLC said in a complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the District of New Jersey. The company seeks declaratory judgment it didn’t infringe Crocs’ trademark rights, as well as damages to compensate for tortious interference and defamation.
