Crocs Bid to Block Copycat Shoes to Be Considered at ITC

The U.S. International Trade Commission said it has launched an investigation based on a complaint Crocs filed against shoes that copy its trademarked designs.

  • Crocs claims almost two dozen firms, including Hobby Lobby stores and Skechers, are selling shoes that copy the three-dimensional upper, the textured strip on the heal of the shoe, the decorative band along the length of the heal strap, and the name “Crocs”
