Craft Beer Makers Duke It Out Over ‘Route 66' Trademark

A trademark infringement suit over the phrase Route 66 on craft beer will proceed, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico said Jan. 16.

Factual issues over whether one beer’s logo infringes the other beer’s trademark exist, precluding summary judgment for either, the opinion by Judge Judith C. Herrera said.
