Court Kills Army Camouflage Patent Holder’s Case

The company holding design patents on the camouflage pattern used by the U.S. Army in Afghanistan has lost its lawsuit against a former licensee (Crye Precision LLC v. Duro Textiles LLC, 2016 BL 128973, S.D.N.Y., 15cv1681 (DLC), 4/22/16).

The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on April 22 found that Duro Textiles LLC’s ‘s camouflage product did not infringe Crye Precision LLC’s trade dress, granting Duro’s motion for summary judgment.
