Court Finds No Evidence in Record In Claims Against Google AdWords Use

Several trademark claims against Google’s AdWords and Keyword Suggestion Tool system were unsupported by any evidence in the record, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California ruled Oct. 17 (Jurin v. Google Inc., E.D. Cal., 2:09-cv-03065-MCE-CKD, 10/17/12).

Granting summary judgment in Google’s favor, the court directed closure of the claims.
