Corsair Gaming Inc. accused an online store of infringing its trademarks by reselling used Corsair products and falsely labeling them as new.
Midas Technical Solutions LLC never received authorization from Corsair to resell its consumer electronics, but did so anyway on sites like Amazon.com, alleges Corsair’s complaint filed in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts. The products, listed as “new,” were actually used, resold in non-consumer packaging, and sometimes delivered in a damaged state.
The conduct “interferes with CORSAIR’s ability to control the quality of products bearing the CORSAIR Marks,” the complaint said.
