Copyright Claims Board to Start Hearing Cases June 16

The new small-claims Copyright Claims Board will officially open its doors on June 16, the Copyright Office announced Thursday.

“As of June 16, CCB participants will be able to register for eCCB, the CCB’s electronic filing and case management system, and submit or respond to a claim at the CCB,” said the Copyright Office in its announcement. Parties will also have access to a new handbook with guidance on CCB procedures.
