Cannabis products company Cookies Retail Products LLC claimed a partial victory in its trademark dispute with AK Futures LLC, as a federlal judge dismissed some of AK Futures’ counterclaims.
AK Futures argued that Cookies’ trademarks should be canceled because they’re associated with unlawful cannabis products. Judge
He determined, however, that AK Future’s allegations that “smell-proof” pockets are meant to evade federal law enforcement were sufficient to survive. The court also determined that Cookies was not carrying out any unfair business practices.
