Consumer Suits Dog Anti-Abortion Clinics, Despite SCOTUS Win

Anti-abortion pregnancy centers now have a powerful tool for avoiding state consumer protection and false advertising enforcement actions after their victory at the US Supreme Court this week.

But the win isn’t likely to shut down all state investigations into the practices of such clinics, which critics allege deceive consumers by holding themselves out as full-services medical providers, when they usually don’t employ licensed medical professionals.
