A business consulting company accused an India-based generative artificial intelligence company of ripping off the “KAIYA” name of its own AI platform.
Tellius Inc. applied for an intent-to-use trademark application months after Prosci Inc. had already begun using it as the name of its AI tool, accoridng to the complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the District of Colorado. While Prosci filed its trademark application after Tellius, it argued its use prior to any claimed use by Tellius gives it common law rights.
