Complex Media, Photographer Settle Suit Over Skepta Photo

Complex Media Inc. and fashion photographer Marc Richardson have settled a copyright infringement suit alleging unauthorized use of a photo of the British rapper Skepta, according to a filing in a New York federal court.

Richardson owns a copyright in his photo of Skepta. New York-based Complex Media Inc.'s U.K. Instagram account allegedly reposted the photo without permission, and Richardson sued for infringement.

Complex moved to dismiss the case, arguing Richardson failed to outline any acts of infringement that occurred in the U.S.
