Comedians Settle Copyright Suit Against Pandora After Setback

Pandora Media LLC settled copyright claims it underpaid for works by comedians including Robin Williams and George Carlin six months after a special master concluded the audio streamer had implied license.

The streamer reached the agreement ending the nine consolidated lawsuits alleging it infringed the comedians’ works of during a settlement conference, according to a filing docketed on Jan. 30 in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
