Columbia University and a late professor’s foundation settled a lawsuit over ownership of the professor’s scholarship on Iran, a New York federal court said Thursday.
Details of the settlement aren’t offered by the court’s order, which dismisses the consolidated lawsuit over who owns the trademark rights for Encyclopaedia Iranica, a comprehensive research tool dedicated to the study of Iranian civilization.
