Cloudflare Partially Wins Testimony Motions Eve of Patent Trial

Cloudflare Inc. partially won its bid to keep Sable Networks Inc. from telling a Texas jury certain information about customers and alleged circumstances behind its litigation in an upcoming patent infringement trial.

Judge Alan D. Albright of the US District Court for the Western District of Texas ruled on six pending motions of limine Wednesday in Sable’s suit against Cloudflare, according to an order filed two days before jury selection.

Albright prohibited Sable from making any reference to “irrelevant character evidence” concerning beliefs and names of Cloudflare’s customers. Sable can’t identify the customers’ political or religious beliefs, or beliefs that ...
