Cloudflare Accused of Infringing Data Protection System Patent

Cloudflare Inc.'s computer data protection system infringes the patent Touchpoint Projections Innovations LLC holds for a data communications network that combats malicious network transfers, a complaint filed in a federal court in Texas says.

The inventions claimed in the patent include a computer communication network system comprising: a source computer, a manged power distribution unit aggregating module, a connection-based network, a gateway, a receiver-side connectionless network, and a receiver computer, according to Touchpont’s complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
