Matthew Yelovich joined Cleary Gottlieb as a partner in its Americas litigation practice in the Bay Area, the firm announced Monday.
Yelovich will focus on internal and government investigations, specifically those involving the Justice Department and the Securities and Exchange Commission, and complex civil litigation and appeals, the firm said.
Previously he was the deputy chief of the Criminal Division of the US Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California.
