Cleaning Products Seller Says Patent Owner Unfairly Using Amazon

Kingmark Manufacturing Co. told a California federal judge a Chinese manufacturer and its American partner tried to intimidate the competitor by making an infringement report to Amazon over microfiber cleaning cloth products.

Ningbo Xinrun Textile Co. told Amazon multiple competitors infringed US Patent No. 12,209,354, according to Kingmark’s declaratory judgment action filed Monday in the US District Court for the Central District of California. Kingmark said it lost sales because of Xinrun and Machimpex USA LLC’s actions since Amazon, at least temporarily, removed its products.
