Cisco Loses Trade Secrets Suit Against Poly Over WebEx, Headset

Cisco Systems Inc. lost its trade secrets lawsuit against Plantronics Inc., doing business as Poly, and a former employee for allegedly misappropriating information about its videoconferencing and wireless headset products.

Cisco failed to present evidence that Poly used or disclosed any of its trade secrets, or that there was an actual threat that Poly or ex-employee Wilson Chung would do so, the US District Court for the Northern District of California ruled Wednesday.
