Cisco, Asus, Arris Keep Wins Invalidating Vivato Wireless Patent

Vivato Technologies failed to convince the Federal Circuit to overturn decisions from two California federal courts that nixed claims in a wireless network patent.

A three-judge panel at the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit on Thursday affirmed a decision finding 10 claims in US Patent No. 6,611,231 indefinite and therefore invalid for protection.
