Luxury fashion company Chrome Hearts LLC accused Crocs Retail LLC of selling cross-shaped charms that rip off its registered jewelry trademark in a lawsuit in California federal court.
Crocs, which sells “Jibbitz Charms” that attach to holes in their iconic footwear, are “identical, substantially indistinguishable, or confusingly similar” to the design trademark Chrome Hearts first registered in 2008, according to the complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
