Software developer Pinn Inc. told a Texas federal court that Chinese headphone maker SoundPeats infringed three patents by selling wireless earbuds.
Shenzhen SoundSOUL Information Technology Co. Ltd. and Shenzhen TekTek Technology Co. Ltd., both doing business as SoundPeats, manufacture, import and sell products thatinfringe US Patent Nos. 10,455,066; 11,102,340 and 11,849,061, according to a complaint filed July 5 in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Pinn said the products utilize similar methods as its patents for connecting earbuds to a smartphone using Bluetooth.
