Chanel Accuses Houston-Area Boutique of Selling Counterfeits

Chanel Inc. told a Texas federal court in a trademark lawsuit that a Houston-area boutique is selling knock-off Chanel products.

Southern Divas Boutique Inc. earns substantial profits while inflicting irreparable damage to Chanel, the complaint filed Friday in the US District Court for the Southern District of Texas said. It also named the owner of the boutique, who Chanel said operates the business out of her home and a storefront on the outskirts of Houston in Katy, Texas.
