CBS, Showtime Beat Hedge Fund Coach’s ‘Billions’ Copyright Claim

CBS Corp. and Showtime Networks Inc. beat a lawsuit brought by a hedge fund coach who alleged that the Showtime series “Billions” infringed her copyrights, because she failed to sufficiently allege that the show and her book were substantially similar, the Southern District of New York said Oct. 7.
