CBRE Sues Florida Real Estate Firm for Trademark Infringement

A south Florida real estate company infringes CBRE Inc.'s trademarks, a new complaint in the Southern District of Florida alleges.

Capital Commercial Real Estate Group’s use of “CCRE” and a logo similar to CBRE’s is likely to cause confusion with CBRE’s trademarks and trade dress, the May 15 complaint says.

CBRE describes itself as the “world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm.” The company owns a trademark registration for a logo featuring its initials in dark green letters against a white backdrop and white letters against a dark green backdrop.
