A federal district court in Texas granted in part and denied in part Energy Alchemy Inc.'s action against several individuals for trademark infringement, unfair competition, and false designation of origin relating to the “Mi Dia” and “From Scratch” marks. The court permanently enjoined the individuals from using the “Mi Dia” mark, but said that “From Scratch” isn’t legally protectible.
