The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office accepted Total Leadership Inc.’s notice of opposition to Leader Development Inc.’s registration of the mark “Total Leadership Framework” as timely filed, and forwarded the submission to the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board for further action. The PTO determined that Total Leadership attached its notice of opposition, in an electronic paper form, to an electronically-filed petition to the director, which included a showing that it was unable to submit the filing using the board’s electronic filing system on the notice of opposition deadline, and included payment of the requisite fee for a notice of opposition. ...
