The Trademark Trial and Appeal Board affirmed an examining attorney’s refusal to register Audemars Piguet Holding SA’s marks consisting of three-dimensional configuration designs of a watch. The board affirmed the functionality-based drawing refusals based on the inadequacy of the drawings, as well as the refusal to comply with requirements to revise the drawings.
