A federal district court in California granted Surf Technicians LLC’s motion to dismiss Surf Boards By Donald Takayama LLC’s action for trademark infringement, unfair competition, and breach of contract relating to a licensing agreement for the manufacture and distribution of surfboards. According to the court, Surf Boards isn’t excused from complying with the parties’ notice-and-cure provision, so their agreement hasn’t been properly terminated.
