A federal district court in Pennsylvania denied Better Pennsylvania Inc.'s motion for a preliminary injunction in its action for trademark infringement, cybersquatting, and unfair competition against the Pennsylvania Manufacturers’ Association, relating to PMA’s use of the “betterpa.org” web domain and the “Making PA Better” logo. The court said that neither Better Pennsylvania nor PMA engage in any commercial activities, so Better Pennsylvania’s federal claims won’t be able to succeed, and the court declined to exercise supplemental jurisdiction.
