A federal district court in Illinois granted an e-commerce vendor’s motion for a preliminary injunction and denied UAB Ekomlita’s motions to dismiss and for a preliminary injunction, in the vendor’s action for trademark infringement, seeking to prevent UAB from selling counterfeit “Huusk” knives on its website. The court said that the vendor stated a claim for trademark infringement and demonstrated a likelihood of success on the merits.
