A federal district court in California denied Protiviti Inc.’s motion for attorneys’ fees following an entry of default judgment of trademark infringement against Protiviti LLC. The court previously determined that this was an exceptional case entitled to attorneys’ fees under the Lanham Act, but that the request of $39,063 was inappropriate.
