Case: Trademarks/Abandonment (T.T.A.B.)

The Trademark Trial and Appeal Board granted Adamson Systems Engineering Inc.'s petition to cancel Peavey Electronics Corporation’s registration of “CS” for amplifiers, on the ground of abandonment. According to the board, Adamson has proven by a preponderance of the evidence that Peavey discontinued use of the mark on amplifiers with intent not to resume such use.
