A federal district court in California granted in part and denied in part Project Crayon LLC and its owners’ motion to dismiss Implicit Conversions Inc.'s action for trade secret misappropriation, tortious interference with prospective economic advantage, and unfair competition. The court said that the unfair competition law claim is preempted and that the tortious interference claim is preempted in part.
